John Alfred Grant age 81, of Clarkson, passed away December 18, 2023 at his residence.
He was born September 12, 1942, in Peonia, Kentucky, to the late Elza and Mary Pauletta Clemons Grant.

He was a retired Fed-Ex driver and enjoyed doing masonry work. He loved playing music and listening to bluegrass and classic country music, he also enjoyed traveling. He was a member and Past Master of the Leitchfield Masonic Lodge and a member of the Shriners.
He was a member of St. Anthony and St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Faye Grant, they were married in 1962; a grandson, Tristan Lashley; a brother, Joseph Grant; and a sister, Melissa Grant.
He is survived by his sons, John Grant Jr., and Timothy Grant (Shelia); and daughters, Pamela Grant and Regina Jewell (William Jeffery); eight grandchildren, Celeste Grant, Sam Grant, Heather Winchell, Ariel Lashley, Christopher Grant, Jordan Grant, Dathan
